**MyECD Terms of Service** These terms govern your use of MyECD, the early-childhood school management platform operated by ProtendAI Software (Pty) Ltd ("MyECD", "we"). By registering or using MyECD you agree to these terms. **1. The service** MyECD provides multi-tenant software to ECD centres. Each registered school ("the School") is the data controller of the records it holds about children, parents, and staff. MyECD acts as a data processor under the School's direction. **2. Account responsibilities** The School is responsible for: - The accuracy of data it captures. - Keeping login credentials secure. - Lawful basis for processing children's data, including parental consent. - Notifying MyECD promptly of any suspected unauthorised access. **3. Payment & subscription** Plans are billed in USD on the cycle published on your subscription page. Free trials run for 30 days unless extended in writing. We may suspend access for non-payment after one written warning to the account owner. **4. Acceptable use** You may not use MyECD to harass any party, store unlawful content, or attempt to access another school's data. Repeated security violations may result in immediate termination. **5. Availability** We aim for 99.5% monthly availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in-app. **6. Liability** Our maximum liability to any School in any 12-month period is capped at the fees paid by that School in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. **7. Termination** A School may cancel at any time from the Subscription page. On termination MyECD will retain data for 30 days, then permanently delete unless the School requests an export under the Privacy Policy. **8. Changes** We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after a new version is published counts as acceptance. By registering a school on MyECD you confirm you have read these terms, have authority to bind your school, and accept them.
